An old cold store with a good draught below a house. This is in the same large depression as site 3166, over Torca la Vaca, and one of the sites may be a future top entrance. This site was excavated through sandstone boulders to where progress is down small rifts. Communication from within Torca la Vaca is required. Excavation has been mainly by a French team from ABIMES.
The account of the final digging session from the logbook states: The French team started clearing out the area just inside the entrance, then the blockage before the first 2 or 3m drop. This went to a small chamber with two ways off. One was a rift passage / crawl getting too small, the other was a 4m drop under some boulders, where the draught was coming from. The boulder was smashed and we dropped to another dig. This went to another chamber created in limestone under sandstone beds which had then split and fallen in. Under these beds a number of rifts / pitches unite but become too narrow.
After another visit at Easter 2013: "The dig under the dodgy hanging sandstone boulders looks good. Also the crawl going off from the initial chamber looks interesting."
