The unexplored shaft has a tree and lies between the fence and a wet area. Descended to a choke 8m down. The site was also investigated at Easter 2006, given the 2401 number and described as a 2m deep, choked rift - see area sketch. These ambigious accounts can now be replaced by:

A 3m free climb down in a depression to a tighter section at the northern end which leads to a 7m drop which may dig at the base. In this (Christmas 06) visit the drop was not descended.
