Eight photos showing the sink area and cave entrance after extensive clearance and landscaping. (photos: Juan Corrin, end of July, end of August 2023)

Water flowing into to the sink area (from left to right). The first sink, at the left of the new, built-up bank, is now possibly blocked. (End of July 2023)

Part of the usual main sink area. (End of July 2023)

Panorama looking back upstream (west) from above the main sinks. The water disappears under the rubble wall and the photographer. The overflow trench starts up to the right (east). (End of July 2023)

Looking east towards the main sinks in low water. New saplings have been placed into a raised bank. (End of July 2023 - Contrast with 5).

Looking east towards the main sinks in moderate water flow. Heavy showers occurred in the previous days. (End of August 2023 - Contrast with 4)

Looking back upstream (west) from above the main sinks. The water is now sinking further back east. (End of August 2023 - contrast with 3)

The start of the overflow channel. After heavy showers, the water had risen to the mud/grass boundary then fallen back. (End of August 2023)

Cueva Carcavuezo entrance still blocked at the end of July 2023.
