Digital photos in the Carcavuezo sink, overflow and entrance areas
by Juan Corrin, January 2017

A1, A2: A small whirlpool sink developed between sinks S2 and S3.
A3 - A5: The completely cleared trench and overflow sink areas.
B1: Overflow sinks below the entrance.
B2: The entrance viewed from the south under the diamond shaped
rock in the middle of the photo.
B3-C1: A clear top but choked base at the entrance.
C2: The last flood (early January?) had deposited silt on leaves
slightly above survey station A (in the tree on the track - bottom right
of the photo) showing that the flood had reached about 147m altitude,
9m above the sinks. This was still 3m below the big flood in 2015 which
covered the main road opposite Ian’s house.
