Access to the Knotted Rope Series

It appears folk are getting a bit confused about how to get into the Knotted Rope Series in Fresnado 2. It doesn't require bolts to get up there.
Where the passage closes down just beyond the bottom of the rope there is an easy climb up the vertical stal flow which can be protected with at least one iffy thread belay, short tape sling needed. This short climb leads to big ledge, bolt on R of top of climb (with climb behind you) used for ladder hang to make access easier for rest of party if pitch up not being rigged.
From ledge, with back to climb, head LEFT up a silt slope which gets steeper (Right is the more obvious way but it closes down). The route should be obvious due to pathway in the silt. Squeeze near top has been dug to fit all sizes of caver. This brings you to the head of the rope pitch.
The way to the top of Paul's Chamber is across a traverse to the left. Rebolting this is sensible as a fall would be catastrophic but it can be done free, very exposed.
Back at the pitch head, the passage across the pitch was originally gained by draping a longish sling around the obvious flake on the right which overhangs the pitch. A ladder allowed the pitch to be dropped for a few feet to where the slope up into the passage and to the Knotted Rope formation (in blind roof chamber) could be stepped onto, very exposed, lifeline sensible. (Did have a handline left in situ, may not still be there).
Bolts were later placed for rigging the pitch on rope which will probably be the favourite option. Assume all bolts will need replacing. Pitch has a rub point on a large, very pointy stal so moving the hang a bit is worth considering.
I hope this helps, also hoping trip repays with new passage.
Cheers, Toby.
