A large, vegetated depression on the north side of the track which has two holes at the base. Access is down two ladders belayed part way down. (The belay tree is station 5411.2) The slope drops to the west to a rift that appears choked at high level just beyond a drop. The drop was opened up to reveal a narrow pitch. The two ladders were used to reach this point, mainly as a handline on the slopes, but also down the small pitch.
   [Incomplete description follows]
The 3m pitch drops into a narrow rift, free climable and now enlarged in the tighter places, to a step down to a large boulder at a junction. Back underneath the rift, a 3m climb down enters a chamber. At the far side is a narrow passage, which was pushed through a small hole to where it starts to reduce in dimensions. Halfway along this passage is a narrow window through calcite, up into a well-decorated chamber. This would need digging to access. Back in the chamber a narrow rift goes up at about head height, underneath the entrance rift and has been followed up to a boulder blockage.
Back up at the junction, a smooth floored passage slopes down to the head of a 4m pitch into a tall chamber at right angles to the rift. Routes at each end of the chamber have been explored: a climb up to the east closes down after 10m; a climb up in a rift to the west reaches a squeeze into a chamber.
It may be worthwhile investigating around the boulders in the main chamber to search for any continuation of the main rift and possibly climbing up in the rift.

The second hole is to the east in the depression - a free-hanging, 6m drop with a way on towards the main cave, probably along the line of the rift. Exploration down here has revealed a pitch that needs descending. This shaft appears to collect water from a shallow, faint stream bed in wet weather, so may feed into the inlet in the chamber part way down the main cave.
