Originally found as narrow, draughting slot, the hole was opened up for a 5m ladder pitch into passage. A length of 4m to the back wall with a side passage becoming parallel to main rift, adding 5m for overall length of 9m. There is no way of descending between the spires/pillars but there is a good draught and stones rattle down an estimated 7 or more metres. Worth pursuing.
An attempt to further investigate the hole in August 2024 was driven back by "aggressive vegetation".
