Note: This area of fenced shafts is grazed by cattle. The farmer has protected the animals by fencing, allowing vegetation and saplings to run wild around the shafts and piling in extra dead branches, etc. In August 2021 he was not happy with having these defences disturbed. A conversation is required to allow further investigations in the area.
First documented as MCP site X003. The shaft was investigated in August 2021 when 2 ladders were found to be too short in a fine shaft disto'd to 15.7m. It was explored by La Cambera in a "beautiful 17m shaft". Up from the bottom, a gallery becomes impenetrable after 4m and, at the shaft base, there is a small hole that was open up not pushed "due to lack of interest".
