The entrance lies just below an indistinct forest track. After 3m, a 2m deep rift leads to a right hand bend to a boulder blockage which would require a major dig. There is a very good draught and 4m down from the entrance, in a small shakehole, is a narrow draughting slot.
One session of digging was carried out in October 2017 but there was no draught on that occasion.
The slab stopping previous progress was removed in May 2019 to give a 7m pitch into a rift. Rocks fall some distance down a slot in the floor near the start of the rift. The rift continues for approx 6m, but access is stopped by 3 pinchpoints which need enlarging. There was a slight draught on that occasion.
