A natural cave in a vegetated gulley, 2 to 3m across, which becomes deeper and shelves under an ancient roof with a smashed stalagmite column. A stalagmite barrier has been smashed, leading immediately to a 10m pitch to a sloping rubble floor. A rift leads into the hill but progress is stopped after 4m by a thick flow of calcite on the left wall. The rift is 5m high, with walls adorned with stalactites, helictites and cave popcorn. A stone thrown into a hole beyond the flow produces an echoing 'plop'. There is a slight draught.
