This site was found as a strongly draughting dig on the edge of very large depression. It was excavated to reveal a sloping descent for 3m into a decorated chamber 19m x 3m. A further sloping descent for 4m down a rift below the chamber becomes too tight. Although the entrance draughts strongly, the explorers were unable to locate air movement underground until a trip in October 2018 which found the draught coming from a narrow rift. The rift was excavated on a number of occasions. (Photos taken). The surface surroundings were also investigated: looking for a sandstone bed (evident in the cave) on the opposite side of the road and looking around the uphill side of the depression.
Further work was carried out in May 2019.
