A locked door in the hillside leads straight onto a dodgy wooden staircase. The left wall is concrete and the floor has also been levelled and is concrete. The ceiling clopes down to meet the floor (which has a pile of plastic pipes and scaffolding. The left hand wall / ceiling has strip / flashing lights as does the right hand wall. Inspection lights can be moved around the cave at will, past the shelving supporting bottles of bubbly.

At the far end of the cave, a wet weather trickle cross the passage. A possible dig at the end was excavated but is a "no go".

The cave was first documented by the Grupo Espeleológico de Santander del C.A. Tajahierro. Their survey is published in Exploraciones en Solorzano (Santander) in Los Sótanos de la Tierra, No. 5, 1980, Santander (ref. 1980a).
