The entrance is a hole at the base of a small cliff in a field. A handline or ladder is useful to drop down the steep slope. The cave has large amounts of ivy clogging the decorated route. At the bottom, a fragment of skull and part of a tibia were found.
These were later delivered to the laboratories of the Museo de Prehistoria y Arcqueología de Cantabria (MUPAC) in the University of Cantabria campus. The receipt gives an entry number of 993, dated 23rd April 2014.
The cave was surveyed in August 2014.
