An entrance 10m behind the sink at site 3800 enters a 6m wide bedding chamber. At the west end is a dig sloping down, while at the east end an opening had been walled up, the construction being partly cemented by flowstone indicating a considerable age. This was dug through a tight squeeze at Easter 2013 into a bedding full of stal making exploration difficult. This could be followed for about 10m. The stream sinking at site 3800 was neither seen nor heard.
