A promising-looking hole against a limestone outcrop with a sandstone cap. The shaft is 8m deep landing on an earth floor with numerous cattle bones and soles from a pair of hob-nailed boots. The hole chokes at the base of a slope down and at the bottom of a 2m climb down against a block. No draught on a muggy day.
