The entrance lies below the road in thick vegetation. A low entrance leads immediately to the head of a 4m pitch that drops through a naturally excavated bed of cobbles at the base. A streamway passes under an aven and then becomes lower to a junction. Any water sinks straight ahead and to the right, a low passage closes in. To the north (left), walking-size passage becomes smaller, passes a low route on the right and ends where routes become too small. There are possible extensions to be made on the left of this passage.

The low route is a flat-out crawl into a cobble-floored enlargement where the stream that enters is probably that seen sinking before. The passage is seen to continue low beyond a dig but there is no draught. This was enlarged in October 2017 gaining 2m but more digging is required. There was also no draught on this occasion.

Across the valley is another stooping entrance that leads to about 30m of passages that close in.
