This site started as a 2m deep draughting hole in boulders, under a rock wall at the western end of a shakehole. It now has steps down over mud covered boulders with a vertical drop of about 4m to a mud and boulder floor. It cuts back under the southern side by about 2m to a wall. The roof and sides leading here are boulders, as is the floor. The dig will be a major undertaking to make further progress.
