Updated 4th November 2021

This hole is in the middle of the west side of the depression. A short way above the entrance is another hole through which light enters the chamber reached inside this cave. The site has been enlarged. (No length given).

A new visit in 2016 found the entrance blocked and the inside with pristine mud slopes. This suggests total flooding of tghe base of the depression, perhaps from below. The cave, comprising mainly development in among very large boulders and some bedrock was thoroughly examined at that time, both at floor level and upwards into some interesting situations - but there is no prospect for future major extension. The overall length including climbs is not in excess of 60m.

See 3024. Both sites could not be found in the autumn 2021, although a tight vertical rift was discovered that needs caps to access a possible enlargement.
