The site is in a depression with trees. The draughting entrance is a dig
in tyres and mud against bedrock. Digging in the floor reached a depth of
approx 6m but the main draught is from the uphill side (closest to site 3022). To get along here will probably require
a couple of days work. More tyres are visible in the fill. The entrance has
been covered with tyres. Note there is a milking herd in this field so the
dig needs to be left stockproof.
In November 2011 the crawl was excavated to a tight left hand bend to a small boulder-filled chamber which requires major capping work. There was a good draught.
In October 2022, work was not continued as the farmer could not be contacted for digging permission. Nothing was found in the adjacent woods nor on a walk along the streambed to the Duck Pond Sink.
Dowsing was carried out in the vacinity of site 3021 in July 2011 and reactions indicate that they may be passage underneath, possibly associated with Fuente Aguanaz. See links below.
