A free climb with jagged rock. At 3m depth there is a boulder floor with
loose fill. Around the edges, a further 1.2m drop ends at a flat floor in
a an area with an undercut - there is a visible space of about 0.5m floor
to ceiling. There is a draught and this is an easy dig with rope and wire.
In October 2018, it was thought that the site "may repay further attention".
When visited in October 2022, the dig was found to be more complex and difficult than suggested by the original description. Loose material was removed and a large boulder repositioned. It is definitely worth a return but requires capping gear and a bigger team. On the day, the draught was gentle outward on arrival and later changed to a stronger inward draught.
Site 5312 is just above at the base of an outcrop.
