Updated 12th October 2007
A vegetated, fenced 4m diameter shaft with an echo and a steady drip. A 5m
ladder climb drops onto a debris floor with a slope down in a large, 15m
long rift to -7.5m. Six metres back from the end is a crawl under the
left hand wall. This soon splits: the left branch splits again with the left
branch giving a voice connection with the base of the pitch and the right
passage could rejoin the main, right hand branch - this one ends at a mud
choke which will probably dig easily.
The base of the pitch has 3 more passages: one at head height with old stal
is too low; the main passage goes to a small chamber and the final one is
a choked undercut with voice connection to the crawl.
