The entrance, beside the track, is a steep climb down to an undercut below
a rock face. A small opening leads to a slope out into a rift passage with
stal. Only 12m on is a choke with a good outward draught. This has been excavated
through into a climb up into a small chamber, a further squeeze and a second
chamber with no way out.
When visited in the summer, 2011, the hole was found choked with forestry clay and soil, turning the site into a major dig. Although the site was thought to have been entered in October 2018, from the desciption it is more likely that a completely different (and new) hole was explored. This should be investigated to remove confusion.
