A site above Cueva Vallina (#0733), originally reported as "an undescended shaft of about 6m depth. The entrance is covered with a block."

In April 2024 it was located with limestone flake and fence post covering the entrance. After rigging with ladder and lifeline the shaft dropped to a choked floor with clean "basketball" size boulders and smaller. The walls are water eroded with calcite formations. A small hole also leads under calcited boulders to the north for approx. 1.5m. Dimensions at the base are 4m ~N/S x 1.3m E/W.
On a second visit, digging to about 1m depth was carried out into a hole. A large boulder in the hole prevents further digging along with restricted movement in the hole (dimensions 1m length x 0.6m width). The boulder could be removed by capping, or a small person to get a rope around it, or drill a hole for a rope to remove. There may have been a weak draught but it failed a smoke test.
Only consider it as a future project if the hole is thought to be in a key location. Hole covered with old fence post and limestone slabs.
