The shaft top, which lies low down on the hill behind the Vega bar, takes water in wet weather. The shaft drops 20m and has been dye tested to a small stream below which soon joins the main river from Cueva del Comellante (site 042). It is likely that the actual resurgence is associated with a vegetated depression at valley bottom, but it wasn't visited when the dye test was carried out.
