Above site 472. A deep shaft "opened up" in front of walkers in February 1998. The small opening in grass is well concealed. A stake belay with a 3m climbable descent drops to a freshly fallen boulder floor. An oval opening with belay above gives an 18m free hang to the floor. Two rifts to the northeast and to the south both pinch out.

The entrance had grown 3 times larger between February and July.
