The entrance is near a steep slope in the wood. A 5m drop was
neatly covered with logs.
The site was descended at Easter 2012. A 6m drop lands on a fairly solid floor. To the right is a strong draught emerging from a tight rift where stones drop "a good way". The rift was opened up in the summer and descended to the blind base, about 10m down, in the autumn. About 3m up from the base is a draughting slot about 15cm wide and 50cm high which enters a possibly 15m drop. When checked at Easter 2013, the slot was thought to need considerable widening. Stones rattle down suggesting a small size and the hole is probably as deep as the main shaft.
