Updated 18th September 2013
The entrance lies 2m to the right of a fence at the base of the first exposed
rock bed. Boulders cover a tight tube with a rift passage to a small chamber.
Left up a slope leads to a 6m blind pitch. Across the pitch is a heavily
stalled phreatic remnant which closes after 3m. First explored in 1995.
Sites 2890-2895 were first documented at Easter 2008 with a suspect GPS. An annotated map was used to position sites. They were reinvestigated in July 2013. Site codes used during this visit were tied to the original number after reading the old descriptions and viewing photographs. This moved the original positions in quite random directions! Sites 2890-2894 now have the new GPS coordinates; site 2895 was not seen and it is likely that site 1190 (this one) should be further to the east. Site 2891 could also be quite close to its original position rather than the new one. See map in log book.
