A major excavation in a draughting hole which leads to a small chamber which closes in after a sandy dig.
In 2005 the site, below a track in the centre of the valley, had the draught emerging from a blocky floor on the surface - there being no sign of an entrance.
The shallow cave / collapse of site 2288 lies a few metres to the east.
A re-excavation was started at Easter 2010.
