An obvious entrance in the field down beyond the entrance to
Cueva Riaño (105). A small stream runs off
the field and sinks at the entrance. Just inside a surface shaft enters from
above and a couple of moves through boulders ends at a small chamber with
a wet crawl which becomes flat out, ending at a particularly tight bit which
could be hammered away.
This section appears to be within shouting distance of a passage in Cueva Riaño (105) which has large boulders at its end with some rounded pottery pieces. In 1993, a smoke test was carried out from this point in Cueva Riaño, the smoke emerging from the entrance of Dormouse Cave and a boulder filled depression some 40m to the east.
The cave needs pushing and surveying. The cave was partially surveyed at Easter 2006.
