0909: Kid's Cave
Secadura 30T 455668 4799331 (Datum: ETRS89. Accuracy code: M) Altitude 64m
Length 77m
Area position : Site entrance in context : Logbook search

Above and to the right of Los Boyones resurgence (site 117), the cave entrance, discovered by boys from the village lies under the obvious track on the hillside at the base of a cliff. It is best located by first finding Cueva 77A (site 154) and then identifying a tree on the edge of the track, directly above it, as a land mark.

The entrance is an awkward climb into a small tube that soon leads to a junction. A daylight connection is seen near here. From the junction, a number of easily negotiable phreatic passage lead away but all apparently end at sand or calcite chokes. An inward draught seems to be present but is lost further in.

This cave comes very close to the high level passages in Cueva 77A (site 154).
