A small water worn passage in a sandstone bedding just inside the woodland, down slope from the field boundary. The entrance is too small to access. No draught. Numerous badger latrines outside this entrance. Other entrances to the left along the same contour line, all used by badger. Clear mammal trails connect each entrance. [Jess Eades & Martyn Grayson]
