The grid reference may be wrong and the site could be closer to sites 4079 and 4080, explored on the same day.
The entrance is a possible stream sink at the base of a small valley. A crawl under boulders leads back up under the valley to a short climb down into a small chamber. Another climb down over boulders ends at a very tight pitch head. The rift was rigged to a jammed block but entry to the pitch (estimated to be 10m deep) was too narrow, although it widens out below.
