The cave entrance is under a sandstone bed. The shaft below is a 30m pitch, landing in a wide rift. Both ends narrow in, choking in one direction. The other leads into a parallel shaft where the way on down is currently blocked with boulders. A clean washed passage appears to be approx 3m below.

At Easter 2010, two trips capped out boulders in the parallel shaft/rift to allow a descent of about 6m into its lower section. This was choked in one direction, in the other, after getting over an enormous flake/block, it ended almost immediately with an extremely narrow continuation some 3m above the floor. There are no plans to return to this.
However, back in the chamber at the bottom of the pitch a draughting narrow rift (possibly passable by an extremely skinny "skinny") appears to enlarge to caveable size passage after 3m. Definitely worth some effort. Also there appears to (possibly) be a way heading north at roof level of the chamber, horizontal (from the rope) or vertical bolting required for access.

The cave requires surveying.
